The International ICD-10 Homeo Hackaton

We are pleased to announce our new project in collaboration with "Government Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital" in Bhopal (India). Our goal is to connect the ICD-10 with homeopathic concepts of disease progression and healing.

Homeopaths know that the occurrence of various diseases over the course of a lifetime is not random.  It follows certain rules, just as the course of a healing should follow certain rules.

The aim of this project is to link homeopathic knowledge with the ICD-10 (International Classification of Diseases) in order to make it easily applicable for colleagues from all medical professions.

In addition, we will analyze large data sets based on AI (artificial intelligence) to identify patterns that can be helpful for informed decisions regarding therapies and health policy issues.

This project is only possible with the expertise and diligence of our colleagues from Bhopal, and we look forward to welcoming them as Campace collaborators.

A special thanks goes to Dr. Nisanth Nambison supporting the project on all levels .

Prof. Dr. Nisanth KM Nambison MD (Hom.) is currently Associate Professor and Node Officer for Tribal Population Research at the National Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital in Bhopal, India. Postgraduate in Homeopathy. A rare medical/technical combination (double postgraduate), he holds an MD (Hom.) in Homeopathic Medicine and an MSc in Computer Science. In the healthcare industry, most of the data is unstructured and the data is difficult to access and analyze. As a data enthusiast, he knows how to create meaningful stories from fragmented, heterogeneous big data compiles.
